    ML Kit Build Difficulty?

I haven't built a Kibler. But I built my French Fusil C smoothbore (Avatar)in the basement using a Black & Decker folding workbench, Pool Table and a Bar as my workshop. The Kibler should be very successful in your case.

    Due for a good film

How about Deadwood on HBO? Pretty coarse reality, but I don't think Deadwood in the 1870's was too gentile.

I want to build a fowler

I have only built 3 MLs from pre-inlet stocks. That said, inletting the barrel and drilling for ramrod would seem challenging. Especially if the barrel is swamped.

    New from Michigan

Welcome from SE Michigan. I still fondly remember the Muzzleloaders Festival at Greenfield Village. Especially the rolling volley of about a hundred re-enactors lined up with Civil War and Revolutionary War muskets and rifles. Rolling thunder and a cloud of smoke covering the entire field. Get...

Maybe some wasted research funds could be better spent researching Hummingbird hearts and brains. :dunno:

    How old are ya?

I'm 79. Started late. Built a powder horn in my 20's. Built my Lyman GPR at 33, Lyman Great Plains matching pistol 3 years later. The GPR was my Deer Rifle for several years. I built my "bag-o-parts" French Fusil C at 69, which took about 3 years of putzing to complete. Horn and Fusil are in my...

Traditions Kentucky Rifle, really not a bad gun

You peaked my interest. I was given a Traditions .45 years ago with water damaged barrel with bad pitting. Any idea where I could find a replacement barrel to start a new project?

    20 gauge hybrid load

Sounds like my first Jake. I was set up in a Christmas Tree planting, back in a tunnel looking out at my decoys on a rolling field. My buddy was about 10 yards further down off the edge of the field, calling for me. He told me turkeys were coming. He called and four Jakes came galloping down...

Do you name the guns that you build?

I built a Great Plains Rifle percussion kit, and later the companion pistol. I thought about naming them Thor and Odin to honor my Norse heritage. Never put it on the guns. Not a ML but I have aptly named my .450 Marlin 1895M as Thumper.
