I like this, is it allowed?

I was gust surfing through some photos online and seen a picture of a rifle with a scope on it and I decided I liked it. Is a scope like this accepted at shoots of any kind where the rules state traditional?

    Richmond .54 cal Muzzloader

Yep, after looking it up on the internet I have learned that Richland went out of business in 1986 and that their guns were on the low side of good quality. Also the one I seen today had modern checkering and I am almost sure that it would not fit in the traditional category if it was taken to...

    Richmond .54 cal Muzzloader

My mistake as it is not Richmond but it is Richland of Blissfield, MI. They are asking $160 for it but to me it needs a new barrel and not worth it unless the locks are of some kind of high grade. I do know the stock is very nice. Do you know who made these for them? It is marked Italy...

    Richmond .54 cal Muzzloader

I was just in a local pawn shop and I seen an interesting muzzleloader in there that I have never heard of or seen before. It is a very nice looking rifle as the wood is some kind of really nice hard wood stained red and it has really nice checkering on the butt stock and forearm...

What to do with my hawks?

I was digging through my closet and came across some old throwing hawks that I have had for many years. They use to be my stepdads and he thru them at rendezvous for fun. They have set in my closet for years. In this picture is my Estwing and an old hatchet I found that turns out to be worth...

    Lean Pee

You guys have been helpful but I need to just get outside and do it. Last week was too cold and this week I have been burning sticks in my yard but tomorrow evening if everything goes ok I am going to get it set up and I am going to try and use one pole and the rest ropes. I will post some...

    Lean Pee

I have poster pictures of my tarp twice but they keep getting taken out when they reformat my thread. Here is my Lean Pee with no sticks. I asked my mom about it since she use to use it at rendezvous for about 10 years before they got a nice wall tent. She said I don't have the...

    Leather tools

Does the leather shrink? Do I measure big or just as needed?

    Leather tools

I am wanting to get into leather work. First I want to make a few sheaths and then some buckskins. My stepdad made some really nice buckskins back when he did rendezvous but they are way too small for me. Can I use his old patterns but to my demotions? What tools do I need for leather work?

    Lean Pee

I have a lean pee that I have never used. I have seen online that you should put a pole from inside the tent. Can a person build an outside tripod to make this tent work? Has anybody here ever backpacked one?

    Old Hickory Knife

I decide to try and make a sheath for this knife so I can get some practice for when I get some Green River knives. I did not have any leather cord so for a temporary fix I used 550 cord but will soon get some leather strings and replace the 550 cord. I also only had one rivet and will get...

    Cap and Ball clubs?

Are there any Cap & Ball clubs for Cap & Ball people? I am not talking Single action Shooting Society in the black powder section but I am talking dedicated Cap & Ball shooting clubs for actual Cap & Ball Revolvers, not metallic cartridges?

    Green River knife kit

I am going to order a couple of Green River knife kits and put them together myself. My question is how do you do the rivets? Are they just a male and female side and they just mate with the lite tap of a hammer?

    Type of lead.

In my cap and ball revolvers we are suppose to use pure lead as if it has additives it will not shave right and be too hard on my revolver. If I started to mold balls for my .54 cal rifle do I also use pure lead or do I find lead to make a hard cast ball?

    Old Hickory Knife

I may take the wooden handles off of this bigger one and add some bone or antler handles to it. I do not know what I will do with it but it will be something different I guess.
