Rehardening frizzens - one size fits all? Musings for metallurgy masterminds....
I had my frizzen for my .50 harden, last year. Worked fine for a few shots, at a event where i was talking about flintlocks, went to **** the gun and the frizzen broke at the heal.- steam1993

4th Cannon
Got to shoot mine of on the 4th. Were in a city park for a small rendezvous, the canoe renters across the river loved it, and asked if i could make more noise. So 4oz powder down on of my 1.5 in bore cannons they got what they asked for. -

Cannon Powder Charge Methods
I use foil, and have forgotten to worm the bore it does not go bang. Not fun when you have a large crowd of public around. The only cannon i can not swab the bore is my field cannon(has a 3/8 inch antechamber) have to prime with 1/4 oz powder first. But i wait 3 minutes before reloading. Be... -

Need a Cannon for wife!!
My wife brought the first cannon we got, and still have, it was a fathers day present. I also got a bottle of Scotch for Christmas one year only cost $400. We now own 4 cannons and one mortar, and still keep looking at more. -

Got to fire this of at the Big Island Rendezvous in Albert Lea, MN. A .98 cal flintlock, what is known as a British wall gun. Nice trigger pull at 7 to 8 pounds.- steam1993

waiting for action
On the left my 1.25 in bore ships cannon, middle my 24pound 5.8 inch bore mortar and far right my 1/2 scale 1.5 in bore French field cannon. What is not shown is my 1.5in bore ships cannon. Will try and get better photos, at my next event, and up date everything.
