    Kibler Colonial Trigger Install?

1/16” in stock and trigger. Put the trigger in the slot, line up the hole and tap a pin in. As simple as this. If you have trouble lining up the pin, take an undersized drill bit to run through the stock and trigger to align things.

No, the finishing products mentioned above are not available right now. We'll be getting things together fairly soon. Thanks, Jim

We will probably offer a stain package to help the black walnut look more like proper English walnut. Besides this, filling pores is an option which I like. Again, we’ll probably offer a dark filler. After this, just your favorite stock finish.

Yes, exactly. Walnut is just more appropriate.

    Kibler Fowler available.

The barrel is very smooth. Don't let the pictures fool you. Sometimes photos can be really misleading. The bores are professionally produced by Rice (the best in the business) and are everything anybody could want. Again, trust us! I can honestly say, don't worry about trying to look out...

Mike in Fl, If you’ve not seen a three stage barrel before, the only conclusion to be drawn is that you’ve not studied many English or European fowling pieces.

    Kibler Colonial Trigger Install?

Sometimes there is a tiny film of wood that covers the exit of the hole in the lock mortice. Just tap a pin from the hole in the sideplate side through and you see the pin pop out. I need to deepen this drilled hole by a touch.

    Well said Notchy Bob!

    Kibler Fowler available.

Taste is one thing, but just know this is the appropriate barrel for this gun to be historically correct. It is a very common profile on original guns of this style and period. Sometime what we find appealing is just a function of what is typically seen. Not many mainstream modern guns use...

    Kibler Fowler Pre Order

This barrel profile is not unusual when comparing it to barrels of the period made for export grade trade fowlers in England. This barrel is only unusual, when comparing it to barrels made today. Again, this is a very common barrel profile for a gun like this.

Thanks so much. If you have any questions just let us know!

This is a very common barrel profile on trade guns, export grade fowling pieces or earlier period higher-end guns. Yes, those on the list have been contacted and many orders have been placed already. We'll open orders up to everyone else very soon. We're super excited to finally be able to...

    .54 Woodsrunner suggestions

I don't have much opinion on coning. I've not coned any barrels myself, but have heard some really like it. Others think it might diminish accuracy very slightly. As far as historical correctness, there is much debate. Some believe it to have been used, while others see opened up bores at...

Have you gathered patches and check them to see if they are cut or blowing out?

    Other source for Permalyn sealer?

Laurel Mountain Forge (maker of Permalyn) seems to be experiencing some problems. We can't seem to get responses from the company and it becomes frustrating on our end. We are in the process of developing our own line of finishes to bypass this issue.

Barrel Browning with Laurel MTN product

I much prefer the color you got. The real brown color really turns me off.

Missing wood between barrel channel and lock inset a problem?

Uh, no.... This will just make a mess. The hole is there for a reason. Clearance

Missing wood between barrel channel and lock inset a problem?

Perfectly normal even on the highest level custom guns. Not a problem. If I only had a dollar for all the times I've been asked this...
