FOR SALE WTB: Miroku/Ultra Hi (Rifle or Kit)

The only thing that I didn't like on mine is the two-piece stock. It is one of the most accurate muzzleloaders i have owned.

FOR SALE WTB: Miroku/Ultra Hi (Rifle or Kit)

Too bad you’re way up North. I have a .45 that I built in the 70’s that I would part for the right price but I don’t want to ship it. Mine looks close to yours but has a “fake” patch box. Probably better off looking for just a stock.

If You Order From Pecatonica Beware Of Shipping Issues With USPS

That USPS Facility outside Chicago is THE worst. Had my rifle kit sit there for over two months a couple of years ago.

    DGW 28 gauge

I had to get my Mom to buy a can of DuPont powder for me and we used those plastic percussion caps that were made for cap guns. My measure was a sawed off 20 ga shell and used equal shot and powder loads with crumpled paper wads over and under the shot.

How many use a .50cal for elk?

Elk are tough tough critters. The problem with a patched round ball is not killing one. It is killing one quickly. They can soak up a lot of shots and still travel miles before they lay down. They can change zip codes and have been known to survive a single lung shot. I have seen a cow elk...

    Grizz with a 50 RB

And I'll bet you can't show me one predator that is struggling. Thanks to emotional animal rights people , we are overrun with wolves, bears and lion.

    Grizz with a 50 RB

Just "hunt your own hunt". I DO enjoy killing my own meat. Any legal means is OK. My main passion is Bowhunting. But I am looking forward to using the flintlock.
