    Have a few antique brass and tin powder flasks. A few have split seams and was wondering if anyone has a source for getting these items repaired/restored. Went through most of the prior topics,but didn't notice any for this subject. Would sure love to get those little beauties up and running...

    Thank's for that info,and It would make sense for the tool to trace the prior groove. I have seen small catalog pics but never a cutting tool in real life. Are files used for clean up of the cut? No clue.
