Pet loads for Kaido .36 cal 145gr conical?

Good afternoon everyone. I just received an order of rather nice looking Kaido .36 cal conical bullets. I was wondering if you chaps might share some loads you like for conical projectiles? Thank you in advance.

    Collecting C&B revolvers

Not wanting to be left out in the cold here is my modest collection of .36 caliber revolvers.

That is a possibility I had not considered.

    Ruger Old Army chronograph data

Thanks guys. I wonder how my 20 year old Goex compares to my newer powder. I'm also still curious as to why my target load with a wad over the top chronographed an average of 26 fps faster than without.

    Ruger Old Army chronograph data

Good afternoon everyone. I spent the early morning hours at my shooting club chronographing loads out of my "new" Ruger Old Army revolver. I thought I would share the information below. Please note these were 10 shot strings and I will be listing the string average. I was using Goex 3F...

WITHDRAWN Kirst .45 LC cylinder for ROA for Sale or Trade

Hello, This Kirst .45 LC conversion cylinder came with my recent purchase of a stainless steel ROA. It is complete with box and papers and if you look at the photo's I don't believe it was ever fired. Please note there is no carbon scoring in the cylinder. I will never use this so it is up...

    I finally found one!

Sadly, no....when they brought them in they put them in their log as cartridge revolvers in .45 LC so the store is requiring a 4473.

    I finally found one!

Let me rephrase that as saying I finally found for a reasonable price... Came out of an estate sale and includes a Kirst .45LC conversion cylinder. I ran the serial number this one was made in 1981. It has some minor rust on it that will clean up with no problem. So stoked! Now I just need...

    Un-confuse me about Uberti

I also forgot to mention that Uberti is now a subsidiary of Beretta not Stoeger and has been for a number of years. Truth be told the "best" cap and ball revolvers were and probably still are the ROA but now long discontinued they fetch silly prices.

    Un-confuse me about Uberti

I would have to repeat much of what has already been said. However, I have read more than once that both manufacturers adopted CnC machining in 2002 and after that both had a marked improvement in quality. I have 4-5 Uberti's I bought in 2000 which are definitely finished better and the lock...

    Cabelas NEW gun policy

Well, I have been through this process at Cabelas recently and can tell you exactly what transpired. About 6 weeks ago I bought a new Pietta 1851 Navy in .36 caliber here from my local Cabelas in Ft. Worth. The nice young fellow that pulled it out of the case for me shortly afterwards handed...

Loads For Brass Framed 1851 Colt Navy 36 cal

15% of 15 grains is a little over 2 grains...I don't see the point that isn't going to make any significant difference. Just shoot it.

Went to the fun show today

So I went to the Ft. Worth gun show today which was the first time in at least 10 years?? Any way I brought a little Beretta to sell and other than all of the ammo price gouging going on and MSRP pricing on guns or higher. I found this... Fellow told me it was given to him from a recently...
