Good afternoon everyone. I just received an order of rather nice looking Kaido .36 cal conical bullets. I was wondering if you chaps might share some loads you like for conical projectiles?

Thank you in advance.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I’ve tried different types of conicals in numerous BP revolvers over the years. The only time I got the same accuracy with conicals as I did with round balls was when I melted my remaining conicals down and made them into round balls.
I hear ya' but I've seen a number of folks have some success. Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Kaido's design is one of the best. The slug has an outer wall that aligns well
with the cylinder and bore wall. Properly loaded, the Kaido slug offers
excellent accuracy with increased mass for hunting larger game.

Hunting "larger game" with a .36? ..."excellent accuracy" ? On some shots yes. Expect plenty of flyers unless your bullet to bore size is perfect and you have a special press to keep your bullets aligned. This is why it is rare to see anyone shooting at the NMLRA or NRA National Championships with bullets in a revolver...c
