Have any of you ever tried any of the schuetzen reenactor powder? It is quite a bit cheaper. I have been thinking about getting some to try.

The one they have a Woolly Hollow state park every year has been getting smaller and smaller every year. I have been going to see it every year for a long time. This year it was sad how small it was.

I’ll try to dig mine out and get some pictures. I’ve always been afraid to try it. It has a crack that goes all the way through on the hammer from where the pivot pin goes through to the outside edge. It use to serve as a conversation pice on the living room bookshelf.
