I received the first and only Ruger that I have ever owned in the mail yesterday. These two screws came in the envelope that the nipple wrench was in. Factory envelope and packaging. I cannot think of what they could be for. Has anyone ever seen anything like these before or know what they could go to? I’m wondering if they are for a different gun and just got stuck in with this gun and forgot about.

Yep, never seen those on a ROA before. Gotta love freebies.

They look like the screw heads for using a butt stock on your pistol. ROA are not drilled for these screws that i know of.

I thought that myself. I will have to look at one of my revolvers that is set up for a butt stock. That’s for the replies. I was just wondering if anyone might have an idea.

Note how the undersides of the heads are cupped, they are not for a shoulder stock. They appear to engage something like a sight or an attachment.
