    Shooting Sharps bullets in a Hawken rifle

    Long range (1,000 yard) muzzleloader shooters shoot bore diameter ( or very slightly smaller) bullets, not groove diameter. Lee sizing dies can be ordered in any diameter you want, and they are not expensive.

    Are Swiss and Schuetzen the same powder?

    For black powder cartridge silhouette and other longer range shooting Swiss and Old Eynesford are definitely the best. Check the equipment list of any long range black powder event. For short range round ball shooting it's hard to tell any difference.

    I don't think anyone mentioned coyote. I cant recommend it as fine cuisine, but I have eaten it. Lynx is much better.
