    That is helpful but the nose cap screw config is incompatible on that diagram. On mine there are 2 that screw the cap to the barrel. One through upper hand guard, one above it.

    I'll check eBay, I emailed traditions for a diagram and parts list and asked if I could reorder some parts. We'll see what they say. I was really hoping to get this done soon as I have everything prepared finally, except #11 caps. That may be a challenge as well.

    Hi, new to Black powder and was shooting my 1851 Navy today and realized I need a bit more info to make this easier to figure out. I'm also in the process of finishing browning the barrel of a traditions Kentucky Long rifle kit, so I will need to know what to do with that too.
