Thanks for the info. I have a T/C Renegade 50 cal 1/48 and was thinking about going to a faster twist to shoot sabots. The Westerner seems like it might be a good sabot gun. Also thinking about just putting a 54 cal barrel on my Renegade since the 54 round ball is only 20 grains less in weight...

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Thompson Centers Westerner rifle. Accuracy, performance, load capacity, rate of twist? To me it looks like a Renegade with a round barrel. Thanks
