Picked it up this morn from the Club Armourer, 45 cal and made in 1992.
In remarkably good condition almost new..

The lock is very good but a clean and a bit of polishing will make it even better, has a fly.
The grain is a bit weak across the grip but as I intend to fit a bras grip cap
a strengthening dowel will be easy to fit, also will do a bit of general slimming down.

A couple more pics.

Haven’t done any cleaning yet, it’s still as arrived.

They also came in flint. A friend of mine just brought these two over for me to clean and oil the locks. After years of shooting, they were getting rusty inside. They look like they will be nice shooters. Yours looks great!

I have a .54 pedersoli kentucky pistol that has a tight bore that takes a .526 instesd of a .530. My .36 Frontier takes a .345 instead of a.350.

Years ago I had an italian repro rifle that needed a .429 roundball. There are some old Lee .429 molds floating around. Last year I gave one to a list member on here. Maybe you can do a posting asking for some .433 RB and some .429 RB to try in your gun. I'm sure some list members would be happy to send you some test ball.

Yes, you did, and thank you again, sir!🙂

Thanks Rusty but the postage might be a bit high.
What I’m going to do is make sizing dies on the lathe and push some of the.454 ball, that I use in revolvers, through them.
I think that sounds like a plan. I think .440 is going to be what you need. .454 would be too big. My .45 cal Pedersoli Pennsylvania Dixie rifle likes a .440 ball and a .10 patch.
