Walmart. They have .018-.020 blue or red pillow ticking for cheap per yard.

The pockets out of most worn out bluejeans and bibs would likely be the very drill fabric that you are looking for and I would suspect that 100% cotton khaki pants are the same stuff, that's what the original khakis were made from, if my memory is working right.

If you order online, you won't know what you're getting until you measure the thickness. Maybe you'll get 0.018", maybe you won't. Blue pillow ticking isn't always blue pillow ticking. You have to inspect the weave and measure the thickness.
October Country sells 0.018" fabric strips but you'll pay a significant premium for knowing exactly what you're ordering.
Ever consider buying pre-cut patches instead of fabric? In your situation that might be your best option, unless you don't mind throwing away fabric that isn't what you wanted.

FWIW, I went to a local sewing supply store (JoAnn Fabrics) that stocks thousands of yards of various cloths. There a helpful lady pointed me too the cotton/pillow ticking isle. She then proceeded to eyeball me with a raised eyebrow while I pulled out my Vernier's and began to measure each bolt for thickness. Most of the pieces were 12 to 15 thousandths but I did find one end of role "remnant" that was .0018". I plunked down $15 for a 62x57" piece that should last me a lifetime or two. I plan to cut them up into 7/8" squares while sitting in front of the TV some night.

The only stuff I've found that I can repeatedly buy and be certain of consistent thickness is the Joanne's #40. For me it measures .018. Some people measure it at .017. Depends on the measuring device and the user.

The Log Cabin Shop in Lodi OH sells pre cut Ox Yoke patches.

You do realize that currently manufactured pillow ticking has the blue, red, pink or whatever color printed on it and is no indication of the thickness or thread count, at least according to the fabric mills here in North Carolina. Same run or lot can have different colors on it for aesthetic reasons. The only way to find consistency is to get all of your patch material from the same bolt of material, though you could also try getting material from the same lot or batch, but good luck finding two bolts from the same lot. Difference might not be much, but you have to measure thickness compressed if that thickness is important to you.
Personally, found a couple of different materials that worked, and purchased multiple yards of each. As others have mentioned, might be easier to tweak your roundball size. At a few dollars per yard, not that much of a hardship. Think about it, what did your custom or Kibler gun cost? Then worry about a penny or maybe two per shot patch material cost…

No stores in my area (tried four of them) have #40 drill, I ordered some from JoAnns over a month ago on the internet and......nothing.
I ordered some LNG214 from Wawak as recommended by Trev above and will report back after it arrives.
I recently found the cotton duck material at JoAnn's Fabrics. Looks promising. Comes in several colors. Will be easy to find the used patches.
