I had bought a pack of .020" patches at Cabela's to shoot in my .50 caliber TC Hawken. They were too thick to allow me to start the rb.
Huntin Dawg sent some .015" patches for me to try.
Thanks again Jason.
So, if someone can use these .020" I'll send 'em to ya.

You might want to save them and use them as an "over powder wad"....sometimes a hot load of 3F will cause a .015 to fail, and that will prevent that...just seat one down on the powder first then seat the PRB on top...and they'll make a better seal, put more lube in the bore, etc

Roundball, I might as well try that. This topic had 82 views and noone wants 'em!
They might work to swab the bore with between shots too. I'll find something to do with them.

It's a nice offer, thanks...But I have plenty, plus some .010 and .015 and .018...

I'd hang on to them, if folks around the area know you are the BP guru, you might end up needing them...Seems I give away several baggies each year with 8-10 patches and balls as well...

I'd take them in a minute, almost did last night, but I think the OP wad or the cleaning patch idea would be good to try.
