Left about 1hr earlier this afternoon to walk a little. When you have severe arthritis in 1 knee walking gets tough.Walked the top of the ridge for 45 minutes and decided a spot to sit.Tracks of about 3 were there from early morning. After sitting for about 30min,up comes this baldie.Left it come another couple yards and stopped quarting toward me at 40yds.I prefer lung shots but layed the front blade on the shoulder and shot.Tail tuck and ran downhill for 50yds and couldn't make it over or crashed into a down tree. They don't go far when ya hit them in the boiler.Weight was #111.Load was 70gr of FFFg,.445 RB,and .015 green stripe pillow lubed with Bear Oil.Have shot a decent amout of deer with the muzzy and an HOPING to find the RB as I have never recovered any.
Pic as I walked up on it.

Great score with that nice rifle. The .45 has always been my go-to rifle for deer. Good hunting and shooting.
