Was looking at brass framed 1851s online, and I see Pietta makes a 12" 1851 Navy in .44 cal. brass framed revolver.

Pietta is making a good gun these days. Would make a fun target or hunting revolver, I say buy it.
Never mind, you're talking about the 1851 Navy "Buntline". Just looked it up.Are you referring to the so called 1858 Remington Buffalo revolver?
