Anyone remember shooting # 12 percussion cap?
How about # 9 caps?

My first C&B came with #12 caps

Yes! I remember the old Remington UMC caps in the white tin. As I recall, some of the original civil war revolvers had oversized nipples that required larger caps. I had an old model remington army that needed them. We also used to use them on original percussion sporting rifles that had antique gun nipples. Been a while since I needed any #12's- boy am I getting old! Regards, Old Gunsmith
