Hey all,

I recently picked this gun up, in my hunt 1728. It is an Indian made piece, I assume the same being sold by Veterans Arms (looks comparable in all the photos) but I did not buy it from them and second hand from someone else no on then MLF. My honest opinion of it, is that its not too shabby, I know Indian made guns get a bad rap by some, and others seem to love them. I was not disappointed by it. I did take the liberty of sanding off the factory lacquer finish and stained it with a darker walnut color and gave it a coat of renaissance wax, I also dulled down the almost chrome like finish that it comes with. IMO it looks much better than out of the box, would certainly work well as a reenactment piece, wall hanger or shooter, the barrel (in hand) felt no different than an other I have handled and if I were to have kept it I would have absolutely shot it live. Lock is tight, holds half cock w/o a problem and is a good sparker. Only reason I am selling is a found another musket that I'd like in place of this one. Asking $800 w/ shipping included to the lower 48. Check/Money Order or Paypal friends and family. Thanks for looking!

That'd cover a fair number of reenacting periods up your way. GLWTS.
