1763 Lock under parts set 765.
This lock differs from the 1766 in that it is larger with a 6 7/8” lock plate, larger frizzen and mainspring.
Parts have been assembled by me.
The frizzen is case hardened.
Plate is not hardened so that it can be worked on.
Parts have been polished up to 320 grit.
Internals are case hardened, lock throws a good shower of sparks.
