17th annual NYSMLA Primative Rendezvous

Come camp primative in the era of 1740-1840 in the scenic Adirondack Mountains on the Moose River Plains Wilderness Area north of Inlet, NY. This is a can't miss rondy for anyone in the North East! We have black powder shooting competitions, tomahawk & knife throwing, dutch oven cooking, & we have a large and spacious community lodge tent in which to gather in with a wood stove to boot! What dates is the rondy?

 

The date for the NYSMLRA Rendezvous is 11-17 Oct 2008. For further informtion, conact [email protected]. This is a great Rondy! Last year we had a bull moose and a black bear come into our camp! We are very remote. Come and check us out.

Is this event open to the public, and will there be sutlers and trade blanket folks there?

i think the "public" day is sunday...maybe A sutler..anda few blankets around maybe 20 camps, one member of each camp "has" to be a nysmla member..(gees $10!) camp fee is $25 a person wood water hooters saturday morn camp b'fast and sunday nite pot luck..included..absolutely a great time! a camp stove is HIGHLY recommended! :wink:
