I go on Fridays.
Its a good'un.
If the weather is nice, the earlier you get there the better, for casual interaction with flintlock builders and exhibiters.
It can get crowded later in the day.

I've only missed it one year when a snowstorm was bearing down. It is a great show. They have a bit of everything: guns, art, horns, clothes, books, gun parts, antique guns, knives, tinware, copperware, wrought iron, and more. Its almost like a miniature Fort Frederick Market Fair.

We go to the 18th c Artisan Show on Friday, stay in a motel, then go down to the NRA Outdoor show on Saturday. That is a huge hunting and fishing show in the Harrisburg farm complex. You can't see it all in one day it is so big.

I'll be there on Friday. Last year was my first time there. AWESOME! Walked a way with an Allen Martin Rifle.

Yeah, it will be expletive and elbows Friday afternoon! Try it with 3 little kids and a stroller! I got a lot of evil looks and immediate verbal warning about touching! Glad they listen or it would have been $$$

Just returned from the show. Well worth the two-hour trip across I-80. There is the usual assortment of superb craftsmen and a lot of good, original guns on display. Brought money..... spent money.

I spent the day there yesterday (Friday). The weather was good and temperatures had moderated, so traveling was no issue. I took $$, but the majority of it stayed in my pocket.

I've made the seven hour trip to Lewisburg now for the last five years and have found it to be the best all-around longrifle associated craftsman show, this side of the CLA Show in KY!
This years appearance of David Wright and Frank and Lally House was especially nice to see. Each year the quality of the crafts persons gets better. Many fine original guns to see and a good source of parts and stocks, too. Well worth the time, expense and effort to attend! mjw
