Hi. Our club is starting a cap and ball match this year. And I'm looking for something to get started with. This is all new to me not my wheel house.
I have several plow handle pistols and one under hammer. All single shot.
Not interested in a heavy horse pistol.

Thanks. RHR

I have an 1851 Pietta Reb Nord .36 cal brass frame new in the box with extra cylinder. Let me know by PM if interested and I can send photos. steg49

If this is what you're looking for, PM me. Like new Pietta 1851 Navy - .36 cal.

Just throwing it out there, but if you can find a fixed sight Ruger Old Army, you’ll not ever be disappointed. I believe they qualify for all matches as long as they’re fixed sights. Trouble free shooting all day. They are not historically accurate though, if that matters to you. They’re just the best black powder revolver ever made. Here’s a pic of mine.

The matches are not North South skirmish, just need to be in a date range, .36 or .44 cal is ok. I do like big bore, calibers easer to see and score.mice Ruger!

I have a Colt 2nd Gen 1851 Navy 36 and (2) 1858 Remingtons by Pieatta in 44. They are new unfired but I don't have the boxes for them. PM me for pictures and details
