SOLD 1851 Old Model .44 Cal Army Revolver - w/ Holster.

This absolutely beautiful recreation of the legendary 1851 Model Army Revolver is in very nice, aged condition. I have owned this firearm for about 25 years or so and it is by far and away the best looking reproduction I have ever seen. The patina is wonderful and genuine. It has proof marks and was made in Italy, but I am not exactly sure who the manufacturer was. What I do know is that the quality is incredible. It has some pitting and age throughout but noting that you wouldn't see on a genuine Colt of that era. This pistol is old enough to have gotten a genuine patina through the years and it just gets better and better looking as the years pass by. The frame is beautifully case hardened. Bore has some very minor pitting from age but it doesn't seem to effect accuracy. Fires beautifully every time.

I am selling it with the holster as well. I am not sure if the holster is a reproduction or original. The markings are consistent with an original but I know many reproductions have those markings as well. It was original with the pistol when I got it all those years ago so the holster has plenty of character as well.
