Looking for an 1851 Navy Colt replica, 36 cal., brass frame preferred. Long barrel or short, no matter, just as long as it's 36 cal.

I have this one for sale. 36 caliber, 7-1/2" barrel, shiny bore, brass frame, FIE stamped on bottom of grip frame, date code XX9 stamped on barrel. $250 plus $10 shipping.

I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me. I'm normally not like that. I do like the gun, I'm just short about $40.00 and since I'm not working anymore $$ is hard to come by.

To hrt4me, my dear sir, although I appreciate your kind offer, I could not in good conciousness let you do that. I could not, at this time, repay you and that would not sit well with me. Also I see that he has already sold the gun. Another will come along and maybe when it does, I will be better prepared financially. Again, I thank you for your kindness.

there was absolutely no repayment expected, sir; it was meant as a gift, and my offer still stands

You sir, are a true gentleman. Dwight Eisenhower equated men of your character as being like Robt. E. Lee, saying their honesty, virtue, and character were beyond reproach.
