I like the rugged look of it. as you can see its already showing some good use for 2022 pistol.

its this guys white hairs that get on everything.

You could try some Loctite 660 retaining compound. It'll save you from destroying the finish with the solder. Make sure you degrease everything and let it cure for at least two hours.

already soldered it. see photos above. finish doesn't last long with me... I use my gear.
