Looking for a pre craziness priced 1858 Remington with steel or brass frame. Needs to be reasonable price. Want it for a project. If you have one you can PM me here. Thanks

I think you meant WANTED, not FOR SALE. Anyway, prices are what they are at any given moment. Supply and demand. That said, im looking for one also and if I cant scare one up now secondhand, its just a matter of waiting until travel opens because then cargo can fly again too. The Italians have the stock just not the transportation yet because of covid restrictions. Same problem thats kept our own business down for a year.

May I ask what price range you are hoping for?

Around $250 or so. I am looking for one for a project and don't want to pay a bunch for one to chop up.

I've got an 1858 Remington New Army, brass frame, .44cal. Made in 1975. However, I don't see a makers mark, just says "made in Italy". I could do $250 shipped.
