1860 army

My new purchase of a Piette1860 Army .44. I posted my first range results awhile back. Finally got out to see if it was still as accurate. This is 30 grains pistol pyrodex, wad with cream of wheat filler and .454 ball. This is POA at 15 yards. Probably could have been tighter if I was better. Love this gun! Prefer real black but need to use up this lb of pyrodex and save the real for my flinter.

I'm surprised yours hits so close to point of aim. You're lucky. Most I've seen were about 8 inches high at that range.

Your right BP, here's my colt family. Got the ASM Walker circa 1977, Uberti dragoon last summer, the Pietta Army a couple montjs ago. I have to say my favorite is getting to be the Army, as it shoots so well.

Great shooting and some nice pistols.
recently got my 1860 Pietta w/conversion cylinder, awaiting a BP cylinder from member poker. The grip fits my hand far better than my 1851. I made the mistake of asking my son to stop by an look at a ROA for me after he competed in an unmentionable pistol competition. He fell in love with it so I let him have it.
