O have this stock I bought for a Pietta 1860. Well it doesn't fit. Its way off. It has MADE IN BELGIUM stamped on it. Might be for the Centaure? I did notice in some pictures the Centaure has more of a curve in the grips.
Whatever it fits I can't use it.
Asking $425 or make me an offer I can't refuse.
I am in the market for a Pietta 1858 Army 8" barrel

Those shoulder stocks will almost always require some fitting (sometimes quite a lot). Unless you have a stock and revolver made buy the same manufacture (Colt to Colt or Uberti to Uberti, for instance), grinding will most certainly be required.

Ok, this one is not even close to fitting. Its way off on my Pietta. Also it doesn't have the channels for the screws.
I have also noticed the Centaure I've seen don't have any screws. But they did have the recoil shield notches.
Got me. I've no idea.
I recently got a 3rd model Dragoon and it has the extra screws. Last one I had didn't.

Actually, the cut-outs for the 4th screws are present on your (now sold) stock. Those cut-outs differed from manufacturer to manufacturer.
