For those near Lewisburg Pa. Nice show next weekend...there will be contempory rifle makers like W. Shipman, Cabin Creek Muzzleloaders and Allan Martin among other makers, horn makers, leather and clothing crafters etc...

I have had this on my calendar for 2 months. Hopefully no emergencys at work will pop up and I can go on Saturday. I have not been to this event so am looking forward to it.

The wife and I will head up to Lewisburg on Friday, joined by another couple. It will be a first time event for us all, and we're looking forward to an enjoyable road trip.

By the way, sort of in the neighborhood is the Great American Outdoor Show starts this weekend at the Harrisburg Farm Complex. Huge show: hunting, fishing, guns, outfitters. Runs 9 days.

going to make that trip next weekend... my lady friend has never been to Philadelphia! going a couple days early to see those sites then on to the last couple days of that show...

Just spent the afternoon and a fistful of 20's. First time at the show and had a wonderful time.

Spent a lot of time there Saturday... you are right "Shane a gress' those 20's can fly! but it was fun... cool to meet and talk to some of the great gunsmiths... lots to see... and buy!

I looked at lot of rifles, interested in a 45. I will set some more funds aside and go to dixons this summer. I have never been to it so am looking forward to that event. You probably seen me, I was the fella with the black cowboy with the flat top. I have always liked the vaquero style hats. You don't see that kind around these parts.

YES... actually I do remember that distinctive addition... LOL wish I had known. I have shot percussion for years but flintlock is new and there was a lot of knowledge there to tap into. I particularly enjoyed talking with Tim Williams. I had seen several of his videos on You Tube and he had the Davy Crockett replica he built... really enjoyed the show
