I have a chance at a 1972 TC Renagade 54 cal with 3# of Goex ff black TC maxi ball mould and a few other odds and ends not sure what yet his asking price is 300.00 he says its oiled and cleaned and is as new as the day he baught it. Ithink I will offer 250.00 and go from there what do you guys think?

Well, the 3 pounds of Goex is worth at least $50 by itself.
The mould is probably worth another $50 or so.
It don't take a whole lot of odds and ends to equal another $50...
Sounds like a good deal.
Renegades in good condition go for $250 and up all the time with no extras thrown in.

I would take him the $300.oo and grab it, ya never know if theres a second place bidder standing around the corner and if ya piss him off he will sell to him! Sounds like an excellent deal if it is as stated.

I text him he said he has alot more extras than he thought so I said I will take it I havent even looked at It yet hope I didnt jump to soon I will look at it in person on Wednesday I cant wait

I'd take a bore light with me and look down that barrel. The seller, most likely, is being honest with you about the condition since he knows you're going to be making the deal face to face.

Hope it works out for you, good luck.

Well I guess I was to slow I thought the words Ill take it ment something well I will keep looking maybe something will show up

"I'll take it" does mean something,, but only if it's done on the open forum.
(depends on forum rules)
If you PM someone that you'll take it,, and the seller doesn't see it until after the time stamp of another posters on the open topic,,, then you lose.
It's fair play,, first come, first served.

Well my NIB investarms "my father passed down to me" quickly became "Its shoots great, the guy I got it from took really good care of it" And when I reminded him of his armslist post re NIB from good ol pop he suddenly didnt wanna sell? CROOKS??

Well maybe not! Sister gave me my present early, she won a raffle at a VFW in WI (she in Vegas) and presented a looks like new CVA frontier .50. However it is NOT new as it was shot and left dirty and nipple has rust. If not salvageable I will be making my first contact with Mr Hoyt and will have a nice .54 rb barrel! Came with alot a "stuff to, measure, caps, box n a half conicals, lube etc.

Cux Im lazy I will ask...whats the twist n has anybody seen or shot one? Had a wood piece put in the trigger guard which I never seen yet?
