I have an older 1976 Navy Arms 12ga made by pedersoli. I need to know the nipple size. The newer guns take 1/4 x 28 thread but I am not sure about the older ones.

@Txflycaster, do you have the original nipple? If you do it may mean a trip to the local hardware store where they have a thread try gauge where they sell the bolts. You can try the nipple there to determine the thread size of the original nipple. If you don't have the original nipple, then buy a 6x 0.75 mm and a 6x1.00 mm bolt. I am guessing that you may already have a 1/4 x 28 nipple.

Just for reference, I have a 4 digit Pedersoli 12ga that is date coded to 1975 and it uses a 1/4" x 28 nipple. The same nipples that I use in my TC Hawkins rifles.

I emailed Pedersoli and the said the same 1/4"x 28.
