I have one on a hawken stock, as does Roundball now. I like a heavier gun and I got it. I find it stays on target offhand much better, doesnt move in the wind as much. it can fell nose heavy, but thats merly an adjustment of where I place my hand onthe forestock. The 38 inch GM barrel would be entirely too heavy, but the 32 is a fit. You can always put some weight in the buttstock and change your balance. the1 inchwill be a tad weightier but I fell its manageable for target work, tracking running animals....thats a tough one as the momentum of the barrel will take over. I know this from experience deer hunting with my 22-250 which weighed in at 15.8 lbs. wont do that again!
Go for it, join the .40 crowd!
