3 calls for good reason to state warden

1 email to the state. Asking where are they.

1 letter to the Fed's?... I wouldn't be happy if I called 3 times... emailed. And got no one.

Sorry to keep on the subject.
Not a problem 👍

...If you did contact your local warden And are getting no where...
Part of my problem is the distance - it's 85 miles one way from my house to the entrance to the property. The game warden has my contact info and I have not heard from him, so maybe gating it off worked; we'll see. Since I put that one gate in, which is about 1/2 mile down an easement logging road, I have since got permission to lock the entrance gate also. It has stood open for no telling how long, prob 20+ years. I'll bet some people cussed when they pulled up to find it locked LOL. 2 gates ought to do it. They're prob too danged lazy to walk in LOL.

Game warden told me I could put em up if I wanted to, but in Alabama, sign or no sign, they have to have written permission on their person or they are trespassing, and I ain't writing no permission slips LOL.

He also said they'll just shoot the signs as an act of defiance LOL. Animals.

The camera might still work.

Set it to record on motion.

You have to pull the card.. I'm not sure.. I'd message them and see how it works without cell signal

It's no big deal.. just pull the cards when you're there and put in new ones.

.
I have a game cam already installed down there in a strategic spot, and havent been back in a while to check it, if the heatherns havent stole it. Batts prob dead. Going down soon.

If you put in a nice ladder stand for yourself.. you can chain and lock it up good.
Put a camera up high in a tree to watch the stand.. see if anyone sits in there.
.
.
You can put those card cameras up high enough out of reach. If there at a good hight they won't see them. Angle it down with a wedge.

I'm thinking take apart card cameras with a screw driver and put the Tracking chips in them.

Even with no service those things are going to end up somewhere with service.
Apple Air tag I think is high review..

I'm thinking Piano wire.

That might be easyer to hide than the strap and not easy to cut I think. Use like steel crimps and just crimp it.

I'm thinking that for mine anyway.. I don't like any of the locks or the prices.

Electrical wire is probably good enough.

Solid 12 gauge copper wire.

Just wrap it around and twist it with pliers.. at least it's not easy to take. they need to cut it.

Those straps the camera comes with don't hide good. The locks they sell look worse..

I noticed it says a trapping license is required!!!

I wonder how many people are trapping pest around the house without any license?

Looks like I need to take a course to do this legally.. looking into that.

I can share this example.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17zSd98kbV/

I post things good like that to my Facebook wall for future to find.

I add pictures. Fishing. hunting gardening. Some life.

I haven't edit in the story to go with the pictures. But I'll slowly pick at that.
Been making a book for myself with Facebook. So I'm going to add trail cam and data on top of that.

I have a friends Facebook. It's not the same thing...

I noticed in the yard.. squirrels

These squirrel are sometimes nothing.. like today I havnt seen 1.

There's the one that's always around.

Then there's days and times your seeing allot of them.

I don't know what sets them off. right weather for right time... I notice biometric fishing yes. Combination.

I guess I'm also looking at spending more for the trail cameras that also have biometric pressure and get just one because those seem to cost allot more.

I guess simple would be not to bother trying to find them out there public lands on days you don't see them in the yard.

I guess that's a daily squirrels?

I was going to post this there or here I don't know where or what you can or can't over there so I'll just put it here. lol

If I put bait out in the yard like deer I'd have squirrels all the time. So it's the same as baiting deer.

So hunting squirrels public without bait is going to be about the same as deer public without bait. Your not seeing them because they're all in the Backyard eating bait. to make a trip out worth it. Going on the right days and times would help because there's less because there's no bait.

And the best option I think if I like it is that dog is cool..
The dog is the same like birds or rabbit I see. It's about the dog and there is a difference. I think I need a dog.

If a get a dog. I don't need the rifle. I'd want to use the shotgun I have..
