2nd buffler horn finished

I know the brass is not PC but it looks good on the black. I'm gonna give this one to my 19 year old son.

The Bufffalo horn looks good! I like the brass on it! :thumbsup:
Mine isn't PC either but I like it, and in the end I guess that's all that counts.
After all I am not reinacting! In my case I figure an old Mountain Man may have found himself snowed in and had a couple of things layin around the cabin and made use of it! Sounds plausible anyway! :rotf: :rotf:

The wife had some jute lieing around so I thought I'd weave a nice strap for lack of nothin else. Then I whipped the spout end with leather to make an attachment point. I kind of liked how it turned out myself. :grin:

or nea?I have a room full of Period correct horns and bags & knives....Then I have stuff I have had made by my instructions.
They are the ones I really enjoy,because a
craftsman has captured my thoughts and thinking.

I agree about the stuff you make your self, I just
get a lot of satisfaction using something I made with my own hands. It's also cool when people come up and ask "where did you get that" :haha:
