amazing. Our family has the exact same pistola, but in double barrel (2 hammers) engraved. It even has a neat little door on the bottom of the grip for extra caps. The triggers are hidden and fold down when the hammers are cocked. The bores are very good with great rifling. I did not know that the bbls unscrewed to load ! Has not been shot since the civil war or before. Did not want to put a cap on it as it may still be loaded !!

Yeah, they are the quintessential belly gun not very accurate beyond a couple of feet. The .454 ball fits tighter giving better velocity.

You might experiment with .451 and .456 balls too. I doubt that those guns are all standard size .454.
Whichever one is the most accurate would be my choice.

I'd bet the barrels on yours don't unscrew. But it would be interesting to find out either way, keep us posted.

Yeah, multi-barrel guns almost never have removable barrels since they had to be attached to one another for strength and stability. Is you gun set up side-by-side or stacked barrels? Could be a rare version.

Took the Liegi apart today, found a burr in the works. Stoned it out. Now it has a very nice trigger. Can't wait to get it out to the range again. Actually, I'll have to wait, since I'll be too busy to go out until the family and friends shoot on the 5th of October.
