I don't know how much switching nipple sizes or cap sizes will help with the caps jamming the action of your gun, the caps usually blow apart on mine and pieces usually can lodge in the action. that is why you usually see people raise the muzzle when they cock the hammer for another shot so the fragments can fall off of the recess cut into the right side of the recoil shield when the cylinder rotates to the right instead of falling straight into the action.
Mine were whole blown apart caps hanging in the rear of the nipple recess, tilting didn't touch it, like I said I used tweezers (as pocket knife not "cutting it").
Hopping 10's solve the problem. Sure had to squeeze the heck outta 11's to gt em to stay on.

well the bigger nipples or smaller caps probably will help solve it. as far as having to squeeze 'em down like that your opening up the seal a little on one side of the cap to tighten it on the other which kinda opens you up to the danger of a chain fire from a loose fitting cap.
Exactly! Thats why i went on a cap hunting binge...dont wanna shoot her again until ts remedied :shake:
