where can i find 32 cal conicals for a remington pocket pistol?

You might find a reproduction mould for a Colt 1849 pocket that might have a cavity for a typical pointed Colt percussion bullet.
These are likely no more effective than a RB though they likely penetrate better.
Depending on the cylinder bore diameter bullets for 32-20 or 32 S&W might work but would be pretty heavy maybe? Ebay is a place to look.

Check the old Lyman Cast Bullet book for old offerings. Once you find a bullet the shape and weight you desire, you can talk to the custom mold makers about making a mold for you. There are a variety of weighs shown from about 85 grains up to 130. I would think your bullet would be small, and round nosed, but I am not familiar with that caliber for that gun.

There are all kinds of .30, and .32 caliber bullets available in molds, and they can be sized to fit your barrel. As with all MLers, you need to determine the bore diameter and groove diameter to the thousandth of the inch before you can make a decision on what size ball or bullet the gun will fire.

DON'T DO IT!
I used conicals on mine, pure lead bullets, not too much powder.....and broke the ram at the hinge screw.
Stick with balls, they are easier to load, and you won't break your shooter. :cursing:

Yup, the loading lever pivot screw is quite fragile. Also, I don't think a conical would leave any room for powder.

bubba,
Might want to consider the Buffalo Co
ball-ettes. They work well in my .32 Crockett.
Just a suggestion :hmm:

Don't use anything but rb's in those small pistols. They just don't handle anything different very well.
You need a ball with a diameter of around .320 at least that is what my colt 1849 needs and 8-10 grains of 3f powder works well.
You can use hornady O buckshot or #1 buckshot if you patch it.
At 25 dollars for 5 pounds that isn't to bad and if you have to add shipping it still isn't that bad can't remember how many balls where in the 5 pound box but it takes awhile to use them up.
Just my thoughts you can do what you like with your firearms as you have to replace them not me. I like the idea of having them for a few decades so I take care of them.
the only bp pistol I would use conicals in is my 44 Ruger Old Army. I know you can get them for the .36 caliber navy colts but not sure I will ever use anything but rb in my colts.

Ah, I wouldn't use a patch in a C&B pistol. In mine, I slugged the barrel, and it was way bigger than the cylinder, so I reamed the chambers to .323". Now I can use what-ever buck it is that's slightly over that, can't remember off the top of my head.
Guess it's a .32 now.
