I purchased this as a backup Crockett to my other Crockett squirrel rifle. I purchased it from a fella that stated it was new. It appeared to still have the same type of shipping grease in the bore that my first Crockett had when new. I put 5 shots through it from 25 yards into about a 1” group. I’m fairly certain it has not been fired prior.

There is a couple of marks around the wedge pin plate on the right side that was not as advertised when it arrived to me. There is a very small place on the left side that was not as advertised in the same area but It is small. Also, there is a small dent in the barrel just in front of the rear sight.

The bore is nice and shiny as a new barrel should be. Brass is nice as well. The muzzle has been freshly coned so no need in a short starter. The rifle will come with a brass ramrod as well as the factory ramrod. For whatever reason, the wedge pin can only be installed from left to right. The wedge pin has a bend in it. I spoke to Traditions about this and they said that was fine, that they do, indeed, bend wedge pins on some rifles. Everything is good and tight.

This is basically a new rifle. $480.00 plus shipping. The only reason I’m selling it is to help fund another rifle.

Price Reduction: Now down to $470.00 plus shipping.

thank you for the reply sorry for the late response i completely understand funding other projects as i to am trying to move some things ( 1851 london navy .36 unfired amongst possible some other pieces as well )to fund one of the squirrel riffles.
I understand. Those small caliber squirrel rifles are a hoot to hunt with. I hope things work out well for you.

Do you still have this rifle?

I'd buy it to have an extra one on the rack, but I just paid for a Crockett pistol. Have to let my sock drawer regroup for a Kibler purchase.
