I was wanting some 32cal maxis like tc used to have I have tried 32 ballets they work fine but i want the heavier tc ones . or I would like a mould for them with out spending a fortune i contacted the guy at blue grouse but he was only casting for his underhammer customers

Keep an eye on auction sites like[url] Auctionarms.com[/url] or[url] Gunbroker.com[/url] for items on their muzzleloading section. One guy was selling pre-cast maxis in .32 and .36. Even the molds show up now and then. Good luck.

You can get a mould for around $70 (if I remember correctly) from some of the larger mould manufacturers. They can make one in the same pattern as the old TC mould. The last .32 Maxis I bought were $6 for 25, not a great price, but it is cheap enough to try them out in a gun without investing the time and money for the mould. They will shoot decently (but not exceptional) out of a 1:48 twist CVA squirrel gun, but the round balls get better velocity and they are much cheaper to shoot.
