Anyone have any commercial .32cal patches you can measure and post the results?

Shooting patch size for round ball?

Bore swab/cleaning patch size?

I have plenty of time for patch cutting and many yards of suitable materials to use, just need to know the exact dimensions to cut.

A penny makes a food template for a .32. For cleaning patches i use white cotton flannel that i get at JoAnns. I cut it into about 1 1/2"-1 3/4" squares

Thanks for the speedy reply. Gonna start cuttin some patches of various thickness in the morning along with plenty of cleaning patches.

Have a new box of .310 and .315 balls, all my cleaning do-dads, powder and caps. Now all I need is my stock & lock back from the TC workshop so I can get it all worked up for the Oct1 opening of squirrel season.

When I shoot my 32 I cut a piece of material ( like a heavy dress shirt ) into about a 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inch strip I hang around my neck, I lube about 10 inches of the right side ( I'm right handed ) when I'm ready to load I lay the lubed end across the muzzle and push a ball in and cut the excess off with my patch knife, and because It's around my neck I don't have to dig around for patches and no need to worry about patch size, this way you get a perfect patch every time. And for cleaning I just use a 1 1/2" square on my jag.
