32-Target-6-13-06.jpg

I just shot this target and loaded the sixth round.............and the woodchuck appeared in the tall grass.............big mistake. [close shot of 20 yds]

They are getting use to my shooting. :hmm:

Small bores are fun, once you find a patch and ball combination that they like. I just wish that the barrel was longer, at 25.5" it is sort of short, but 5.5"s longer than my .36 Buggy Rifle.

I need some longer barrels.

My rabbits are tame, they let me shoot my 73 cal rifle over there heads. They just sit and graze at about 75 yds, and pay no attention to the blasting going over head.

Just wait till winter, you little furry rascals! :shocked2:

Hopefully my next bench session will go as well, then.............some off hand practice.

You don't do dead animals??? Hmmmm... :hmm: ...So we're just supposed to take yer word for it? .... Yer not :bull: us are ya?

BS,
Nice shooting!! He must have been
really use to your shooting, to get him at 20yds.
That is one spooky critter. I don't need a photo,
I know what a dead woodchuck looks like.
Your right, once you get the right load it
is very accurate. IMO
snake-eyes :hatsoff:

Excellent shooting there. Actually where I live the critters are so used to me shooting out in the yard I often times have them walk in range of me while sitting on the range.

Nice shooting there BS. I can't wait till Aug for squirrel with my .32. If the fish would quit biting I might try and get out for some fencerow groundhogs myself.

good luck
wess

Well,

I was shooting again today..........another young woodchuck appeared after the third shot, at the 100 yd target. I fired the fourth shot into the 25yd target, reloaded and the bugger was still there.

Walked down to the 75 yd mark and saw him in the tall grass just short of the 100 yd backstop.

They are use to my shooting, even think it calls them out, sometimes! :rotf:
