Picked this up this past week, no ideal who built it but for $300 price tag I jumped on it, GM 42" barrel. Been wanting a 36 for squirrel an such for a long time, can't wait for it to cool off an to get in the woods with it.

I do appreciate all the generous offers I really do!! was at our Bi annual Rondy here an one of the older guys thats a member was carrying it around, I asked him about it, he said he was trying to sell it for a friend of his that needed the money, so I told my brother about it that had been looking for one as I'm left handed, told him if he didn't want it I'd buy it, brother bought it that day then this past week he decided he wants a smoothbore instead so now I've got it an its got a home here. I'll be sure an keep you generous fellas in mind though if I decide to sell :blah:

Great looking rifle. Please lets us know how its shoots.

Nice gun!
I think you should send it way up to Canada, where it will be treated real well.
I will pay $335 and a case of real Canadian beer.
We negotiate hard.
All the best with that fine looking rifle.

I'll up the offer to $345 plus some Smoked Swiss cheese. I'll even pay "shipping and handling " :idunno:

:hmm: $350, 10 lbs of Mennonite farmer sausage, a hind quarter of moose and a set of elk antlers(300" 6x6) :stir:

Aww. Geeze Mongo, you got ripped off! You can tell from those pic's that its not safe to shoot. All those tight stripes in the stock looks like it will fall apart on the first shot. :youcrazy: Also all that weird brown rust on the metal parts. Yup, not safe. Not safe at all. You'd better send it to me for proper disposal. :rotf:

Best of luck with her. Wish I could stumble on a deal like that when I had the extra cash. Lets see how she shoots!

Thanks guys, after striping it down an checking it out good I discovered a couple of problems, one of the staples under the barrel was broke in half, an the tumbler was broke where the hammer mounts on it, but its nothing I can't fix, already ordered the parts, just waiting for them to show up, so haven't been able to shoot it yet. But even with that for the price I thought it was a steal.
