i am really trying to find a nice .36 single shot flintlock, but the closest i can find is a .32 crockett that only comes in percussion. I want it as a backup to my pedersoli .36 rifle, and a .45 is too much to toss up in the trees in my opinion. Would love to find a .36 mate for it. Anyone know where i could find one, or if they are made? i have a CVA .54 percussion and i love it but i need another small flint! Those squerrils always laugh at me while i reload. thanks in advance.

I know this probably doesn't help you, but the first non-kit gun I ever built was a .36 cal rifled flintlock pistol. I just bought the individual components as I could afford them and cobbled it together without any plans or other info at all. It actually looked pretty good. (Well, not compared to most of the work I've seen on this board.) And it shot. Pretty accurate, and went off most of the time.

You might want to think about building it yourself if you can't find one. If I could do it in my late teens with very limited tools, I'm sure you could.

Best of luck!
