PM Yellowhammer he might just hook ya up.

As @hanshi recommended a Woodsrunner in .54. Is a very good choice. 39" barrel

Another option is the
Colonial American Longrifle Jom offers it in .50, .54.and .58 calibers, smooth or rifled. 44" barrel

I have both. Ii have shot my WR yet still assembling. I have shot my Colonial alot. It's a .58 Smoothbore.

Woodsrunner feels good. I just feels right.

With a name like DancesWithSquirrels

I have a colonial in 58 and the woodsrunner in 54. There is a big difference in the two. The woodsrunner feels lighter and sweeps easier to follow a target. I am more likely to suggest it now.

Perfect description in comparing the 2.
When I first received the Colonial and had it together, I thought holy cow that long barrel.... But it fit me good and shots good.
I feel the same way about the Woodsrunner.

Built 3 kibler kits and the Woodsrunner is the easiest. You could build in an apartment with a dropcloth easily. Not really a kit but the finishing of the gun not a problem.
See your from Texas, what area?. I am Bandera near San Antonio.

Hm might have to try it out in the apartment then and annoy the neighbors! I’m from North Texas about an 1 1/2 from Dallas. Good to see a fellow Texan.

Know the area well. Went to NTSU in Denton and grew up in Ranger. The Woodsrunner is easy and Kibler has video to help hone every skill. Its fun and they have some of the best locks available, bar none.
