I've heard of this, but the balls seemed a bit small, so I was unsure.I also get good results with 000 buckshot
Yup just one ball. I use the same patch as with .350" ball. I don't notice any difference in trajectory at the distances I shoot and the squirrels have never complained.I've heard of this, but the balls seemed a bit small, so I was unsure.
What thickness patch do you use?
And, you just load one 000 ball, right?
A .310" ball with .015 ticking and 30 grains of 3F is a great starting point. In working up a good load only change one variable at a time.
I believe a .31 caliber ball is too small for a .36.

I bet it loads easy.Yup just one ball. I use the same patch as with .350" ball. I don't notice any difference in trajectory at the distances I shoot and the squirrels have never complained.
