I own a kibler smr in 40 caliber and have shot the 45 caliber variant. The 45 just feels lighter.

Hmmm, then I would have to decide if I want a.45cal SMR for general plinking/target use or a .54cal Woodsrunner for hunting?

There’s a couple members at the FtLupton club that have Kibler SMR in .45 calibre…very light gun…very accurate.

I got mine in .40 calibre, I really like the versatility of the .40 calibre

I like the .40 also, have a T/C Hawken with .40cal GM barrel, sort of went a little overboard collecting the Thompsons, need to decide on wich 3-4 to keep, and thin the herd over the next year or so, and free up some cash to try other things.
