Time to pass this on to someone who can appreciate it. I bought it and it has sat in the safe ever since. Barrel measures .380” 38” long and .800” wide. Barrel has LE on top of it with dots running towards rear sight. Rear sight is held on with a drilled and tapped hole - there is a very shallow dove tale. Has set tiggers (front trigger has to be set to cock the gun). Homemade trigger guard. Stock and barrel are not original to each other (stock has extra barrel pin holes). I put a camera down the barrel and rifling looks decent. The most I have done with the gun was snap a cap. $350+shipping

Not offened!
Thanks for the input. After posting, I noticed the date on the ad.
Heres hoping he's alright and just forgot about the ad.

Still have the gun. Not a fan of shipping guns sight unseen. Hoping someone local to MN will want it. To answer your question I bought some .360 balls and some thicker patches but never tried them yet.

So glad of your reply. I was thinking, if the barrel mic's a .38 it would use a .375 ball with a light patch. But what do I know. Might figure something out.
Thank again for your reply, Steve

TOW did not have any that size when I was buying. Had to go with .360.

I like your rifle. That's not fluff. From the pictures it looks solid and well fitted from back when the barrel and stock were put together to now. Is there more information you could tell me or show that might make you more comfortable selling it, to me, that is. Thanks, Steve

P.S. I need to express my respect for your concern that a buyer is fully informed before selling.

I have a .38 cal. Flinter, 40" long, I shoot a .375 with 18th pocket drill spit patch. Not hard to load and it is a tack driver, I have shot as many as 15 shots without cleaning.
