3f or 2f in a pistol

I have a Traditions Percussion 50 Cal.,can I use 3f in it or should I stay with 2f?

I use 3f in my .50 cal rifle and my .62 cal/.20ga smoothbore.

Yeah it works great. lights off easier also.

I prefer 3F in a pistol (mine is a .50 - same as my rifle) due to both a faster burn in the shorter barrel & the fact that 3F makes a good prime. One horn makes life easier. I shift to 2F for my fowler (20 bore). Try both & see what works for you.
